The move signals a significant stamp of approval from the founders of Entrepreneurial Spark powered by NatWest and comes after two years of significant business growth for Sussex based marketing agency, Cobb Digital.
With a vision to generate positive social change through the action of entrepreneuring, the pioneering Entrepreneurial Spark powered by NatWest is now open, supporting a raft of new Brighton businesses. The highly successful business accelerator, founded in 2012, has four other hubs across the UK to date, with another three (including Brighton) opening in August.
Cobb Digital was selected to support the programme as a “community member” after a rigorous selection process. Co-founder, Entrepreneurial Spark powered by NatWest Lucy-Rose Walker comments: “Managing Director James Dempster and his team showed significant experience in the digital marketing arena. He displayed a passionate love of coaching and developing other start-ups - this is something that is intrinsic to all that we do. We are delighted to welcome their whole team to our new Brighton Hatchery. They are clearly proactive in supporting their local community and collaborating - this makes them a great fit.”
Cobb Digital will utilise its knowledge of start-up markets to provide on site mentoring, support and leadership to the entrepreneurs, or ‘Chiclets’, in the Hatchery.
James Dempster, Managing Director, Cobb Digital said: “Having built a successful Sussex based business, we are keen to support the local community. Entrepreneurial Spark powered by NatWest gives us this platform. We will be providing online marketing guidance and our growing reputation is testament to the fact that we deliver results. I’m really looking forward to combining this with my love of teaching and developing others to achieve all that they can. Entrepreneurial Spark powered by NatWest already has an incredible reputation, and we look forward to increasing this in the local area.”
