Cobb PR provides dedicated, personal and cost-effective support for schools, academies and colleges helping them to:
- Promote and transform their image.
- Improve media and stakeholder relations.
- Deal with crisis and reputation management.
- Enhance their communications.
Promoting Your Message To Your Community
We go beyond just bombarding the local paper with 'good news' stories and, instead, work with you to identify your school's key selling points, ensuring that your message is delivered consistently and effectively where it matters.
Several schools which employed us to do just that, later discovered the value of having a close relationship with us when a crisis occurred.
When Trouble Comes We Help You Come Through
From sensational incidents like the Jeremy Forrest student abduction and a crossbow assault on a female student to more commonplace crises, like financial problems and student drug-taking; trouble at a school makes fine fodder for the media. Our team has significant expertise in helping schools and colleges deal with highly sensitive issues and come through them with their reputations protected.
Our Educational Edge
Our added strength comes from two education advisors, each with decades of experience, particularly in supporting struggling schools and colleges.
Terry Boatwright (PIC) our Education Associate brings 25 years’ experience of very successful school leadership in both the secondary and primary phases. Recognising his expertise, the Government appointed him to be a National Leader of Education to help raise educational standards across the Country and he was the subject of a book entitled 'Leading Schools from Failure to Success' published in 2007.
Phil Frier has more than 20 years’ experience in three different principal roles in Eastbourne, Brighton and Kent in sixth form colleges and FE. He currently supports the FE Commissioner team, which operates on behalf of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
Call Julie Causton (01323 416 999) or James Dempster (01273 208 913) to discuss how we might support you through the good times …and the bad.
What our clients say:
"Cobb PR give us strategic communications support, mixed with a common-sense approach that helps us find the right ways to get our messages across to our internal and external audiences. Their understanding of the media and the workings of a journalist's mind have also proved invaluable."
